It’s been a good long while since the last post. Honestly kind of forgot about the website. Haha.

Work

Work has suprisingly been steady. I have made some notable contributions to the projects going on since then. The new year also brought some new changes, such as company wide goals, team and individual goals. We are now required to create acheivable goals for the year and work towards completing them.

One of the required goals is a developmental goal which I have decided to work towards starting the Lean Six Sigma certifications. Right now, I am working towards the White Belt since it’s the easiest and free to take the exam. It will not help much in the long run but it will give me a general overview of the system.

I’ve been mostly busy refining some processes at work and have yet to program all that much so far this year.

Only recently I’ve been dabbling with SQL queries to retrieve specific data for processing. By processing, I mean either wrapping them with a python script to generate some useful graphs & charts or further developing our inhouse analysis software.

Patiently waiting

Still waiting on news about my upcoming promotion this year. Last I heard it was being worked on. Let’s see if that holds true or not.
